This award honors a San Matean every quarter who has contributed to our community.  I need your help in selecting the Mayor’s Hero for September 2024 to be recognized at the September 16th City Council meeting!

Nominate Our Hero

My first Mayor’s Quarterly Hero Award recognized Gloria Brown, a longtime resident and community healthcare advocate who has helped improve the health and well-being of our residents.  Last quarter, we honored Flood Free San Mateo, a group of residents who organized after the bad New Year’s 2023 storms and floods to raise dedicated funding for ongoing infrastructure improvements across our city.

I think it is time to celebrate a person or a group in District 1 who has contributed their time and talent to help their fellow San Mateans.   Whom do you think I should select?
