City Council Reorganization

On December 2^nd, the San Mateo City Council conducted its annual reorganization.  After thanking Mayor Rob Newsom for leading us successfully through 2025, the Council voted Council Member Adam Loraine incoming Mayor and Council Member Nicole Fernandez his Deputy Mayor.  Council Member Newsom continues as the District 3 representative on Council. 

San Mateo traditionally rotates these positions to give more Council Members the opportunity to engage with our community and represent San Mateo in government proceedings.  Please wish Mayor Loraine and Deputy Mayor Fernandez a year of accomplishments that benefit all of San Mateo!
