Wildfire Prevention
Given the recent LA fires, it was timely that San Mateo Consolidated Fire (SMC Fire) gave a presentation at the recent Baywood Neighborhood Association 2025 Annual Meeting on what you can do to protect your home against wildfire and how you can prepare your family for natural disasters. You can review this presentation in the BNA Annual Meeting deck.

Head West Market To Return To Downtown San Mateo!
2024 holiday shopping was enhanced on 2 Sundays by Head West Market’s presence on the B Street Pedestrian Mall. Community feedback was so positive that the Downtown San Mateo Association (DSMA) has engaged Head West to return to the B St. Pedestrian Mall every 3rd Sunday, 11am-4pm, beginning March 16, 2025. Head West’s vendors are individual artists, vintage clothing sellers and handmade gift creators. This augments the existing San Mateo retail environment and gives everyone another great reason to visit Downtown San Mateo…it’s where you want to be!
