Wednesday, January 21: Community Virtual Workshop, San Mateo Draft Context Statement and Proposed Historic Preservation Ordinance

Help shape the future of historic policy in San Mateo!

Join City staff on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 6:30 p.m. for a virtual workshop to provide input on the Draft Historic Context Statement and Draft Historic Preservation Ordinance.

Explore San Mateo’s first citywide Historic Context Statement and updated Historic Preservation Ordinance.  Provide input on the drafts, and participate in a live Q&A.

These documents have been published and are available for review before the workshop through the Historic Resources project website at: www.cityofsanmateo.org/historicpolicyupdate

The workshop will be followed by a City Council Study Session on Monday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. Final drafts, additional outreach and public hearings before the Planning Commission and City Council are planned for later winter and early spring.
